There are six courses managed by ClubCorp Inc., owners of The Carolina hotel, which are available to members of the Pinehurst Country Club. Play on these courses is shared by club members and hotel guests.

Owned and managed under the umbrella of the Pinehurst CC, Fairwoods on Seven takes advantage of the rolling terrain of Course No. 7. It features native marshes and streams, and has been consistently ranked in the top ten in North Carolina since it opened in 1986. This is the "home course" for residents of this community, who also enjoy the facilities of Courses No. 1 through 6.

A semi-private facility located 10 miles west of the Village of Pinehurst, Beacon Ridge offers
memberships and is open to the public. The 18-hole course is within the private, gated community at Seven Lakes West. The 1000 acre Lake Auman is the community's focal point. The Mt. Vernon style club house offers dining facilities and recreational activities.

An 18-hole golf course located within the gated community of Seven Lakes South. The clubhouse offers restaurant facilities for its members and the public, with catering for private parties up to 250 persons available. Though not open to the general public, a limited amount of non-member play is allowed. Play is mostly limited to members and their guests. The homeowners association offers beaches on several of the community lakes with cook-out facilities and picnic tables/benches.

The Golf Course at Longleaf was formerly the site of Starland Farms which for years was the
training ground of some of the country's top thoroughbreds. As a tribute to this colorful history, architect Dan Maples incorporated elements of the old facility into the golf course, including part of the fence and training track. The semi-private Club has been called "The most playable course in Pinehurst" by Golf Digest.
